Scottish Church College is committed to create and maintain a conducive research environment and provide all possible facilities to the faculty members to conduct research work. The faculty members on a regular basis applies for Research Grants from organizations such as UGC, DST, DBT, UBCHEA etc. The college, in order to promote research activities in the institute has con-stituted Scottish Church College Faculty Research Grant (SCCFRG) in 2019 to support the fac-ulty members to take up research projects. The department of Botany has received BOOST grant which has been successfully utilized to purchase sophisticated instruments like Florescence mi-croscope, Spectrophotometer, Gel Doc, PCR, Lyophilizer etc. to facilitate research environment in the college. Many of the faculty members have been registered as Research Guides to conduct PhD to students. Following are the glimpses of research laboratories in the college and list of re-search grants received in last five years and the PhD work being conducted by the faculty mem-bers of the college.
