Athletics:
The College playing field, which has a commodious and well-equipped pavilion, is situated on Canal East Road, off Manicktolla Main Road, and is intended for the use of the students of the College and those of the Collegiate School Football, Cricket, Badminton, Hockey, Basketball and Volleyball are played.
There is also a Gymnasium. Students interested in games other than those listed above may contact the Professor-in-Charge. Physical exercise is arranged for all women students of the college. Regular classes in Gymnastics and Games are held for them at 1, Urquhart Square.
College Magazine:
The College Magazine is publised annually. Students and staff are expected to contribute articles, paintings, photographic entries etc. to it.
Students' Activity Clubs:
Students are encouraged to participate in extra curricular activities and showcase their talents by becoming members of the various clubs, viz, Nature Study & Photography Club, Budding Painters' Club, Debating Society, Literary Society, Western & Indian Music Club, Dance & Drama Club. They are also trained by these various clubs to participate in various inter-college fests and cultural events.
Students' Union and College Societies:
The Students' Union is the representative organisation of the students.

Extension Activites:
Numerous extension activities are promoted to inculcate a sense of civic responsibility and community orientation while provisions and facilities for intellectual stimulation and development, sports and games, NSS and a large number of cultural activities facilitate the all-round personality development of the students, training them in team-work, organization and leadership and providing opportunities for developing their latent creative talents.
Medical Facilities:
On Campus medical facilities are available for the staff and the students once a week in collaboration with the Leprosy Mission Hospital, Manicktala. They also provide emergency services.
Internet Facility:
Internet facility is available for the students of the college. Detailed information is available with the librarian. Students have access to Jstor and Inflibnet.
Other Important Practices:
Other important practices in operation in our college include Parent-Teacher Meets, regular departmental and inter-departmental seminars, value education and numerous academic extension activities by our teachers, all of which have contributed much to the development of the college.
Alumni Reunion:
A number of departments of the college have alumni reunions. The Chemistry, Economics, Political Science, Bengali, Botany, Physics and Philosophy Departments organize reunions bi-annually/annually. Other departments viz. Microbiology, Computer Science and Teacher Education are in the process of setting up their Departmental Alumni Associations.
