The Senatus is the body which looks after the day to day students' matter, support staff matter and property matters in accordance with the powers delegated to it by the Council. It consists of three ex-officio members- the Principal, the Vice-Principal and the Bursar, four representatives appointed by the Diocese of Calcutta of the Church of North India and five representatives of whom two are Christians of the teaching staff plus one representative of the non teaching staff plus two representatives of the students. The Principal of the College is the Chairman of the Senatus and the Senatus appoints one of its members as Secretary.
